Blossoms are now Members of the Canine Hydrotherapy Association

We are pleased to announce that our Animal Hydrotherapy Centre in Woodford, Cheshire now has accredited membership of the Caninne Hydrotherapy Association (CHA)

The CHA has been heavily involved in setting benchmark standards for  hydrotherapy in this country and all CHA member centres have a registered practitioner who holds a minimum Level 3 Qualification in Hydrotherapy for Small Animals. Regular audits of the members centres and compulsory CPD (Continuing Professional Development) of personnel operating within the centres helps to ensure that dog owners, vets, insurance companies can have confidence when using a CHA members dog hydrotherapy centre.

Canine Hydrotherapy Association MembersThe CHA holds a register of Qualified Hydrotherapists and  all qualified individuals operating at a CHA member centre appear on the register. The CHA ensures that all members as a minimum have received suitable training and have a sound foundation in the following topics:

  • First Aid
  • Water Management
  • Principles & Practice of Hydrotherapy
  • Anatomy & Physiology/Surgical/Clinical Conditions
  • Aquatic Treadmill (where appropriate)
